Identify the real requirements
Start with the app developer's supported versions and installation instructions. Check whether the app needs Google Play services, a particular processor architecture, a mobile number or a sensor. Some functions may work while others do not. For example, account login could succeed even if camera capture or device-bound authentication is unavailable. Describe the feature you need to support rather than asking only whether the app opens.
Understand security restrictions
Banking, streaming and other apps may enforce device-integrity checks or restrict hosted environments. A cloud provider cannot promise that those checks will accept a device. Do not attempt to evade the app's security controls or use a cloud device to bypass account restrictions. If the app requires a physical handset, use one that meets its published requirements. Changing model names or buying extra resources does not establish compatibility.
Test with appropriate data
Use a test account and non-sensitive sample data for initial evaluation. Install software from a trusted source and avoid unofficial modified APKs. Record the package and Android versions when reporting a problem. Recheck important workflows after app updates because requirements can change. Before ordering a device for a single indispensable app, ask support what can be confirmed and which features remain untested.
Does a cloud phone include a working Nigerian SIM?
Do not assume so. A hosted Android environment does not automatically include a cellular SIM or telephone number.
